Terms & conditions

How bookings, payments, delivery and image rights work when you hire Crysti Mincey Photography LLC.

1. Booking and contract

Every session is confirmed with a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable invoice collected by credit card. The contract you sign for your specific session takes precedence over anything on this website.

2. Payment

The remaining balance is due before your final gallery or products are delivered. Accepted payment methods are listed on your invoice. Late balances may delay delivery of your gallery.

3. Delivery

Edited photographs are delivered through a secure, password-protected online gallery within 2–4 weeks of your session. Physical products such as albums and prints are produced through professional labs and typically ship within 4–6 weeks.

4. Copyright and image use

All photographs remain the copyright of Crysti Mincey Photography LLC. You receive a personal-use license to print and share your images for non-commercial purposes. Reselling or licensing images requires written permission.

5. Studio’s use of images

With your permission, selected images may be used in the studio’s portfolio, website and social media. If you’d prefer to keep your session fully private, just say so — there is no discount for private sessions, and no penalty either.

6. Creative discretion

Photography involves artistic judgment. Editing style, image selection and retouching are at the photographer’s professional discretion and consistent with the studio’s portfolio. I don’t provide unedited or RAW files.

7. Client responsibilities

You’re responsible for arriving on time, securing any permits or venue permissions for your location, and letting me know about special requests in advance. Extended delays may shorten coverage time.

8. Rescheduling and cancellation

Rescheduling and cancellation terms — including the non-refundable invoice and the 90-day rebooking window — are set out in detail on the Refund Policy page and in your signed contract.

9. Liability

In the unlikely event of equipment failure or circumstances beyond my control, liability is limited to a full refund of amounts paid or a reshoot where feasible. The studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Kings County, New York.
